  At Zest Kayaks, we take pride in the quality and durability of our modular kayaks. We stand behind our products and offer a comprehensive warranty to ensure customer satisfaction and confidence in your purchase.


Warranty

Zest Kayaks warrants that our kayaks will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 3 years on accessories and 5 years on body from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

What Is Covered?

  • Hull & Deck: Covered against structural defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Modular Connection System: Ensured to function properly under normal use.
  • Fittings & Accessories: Covered against manufacturing defects.

What Is Not Covered?

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or fading.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or modifications.
  • Improper storage, handling, or maintenance.
  • Commercial or rental use.
  • Incidental or consequential damages.

Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your kayak has a defect covered under this warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our support team at info@zestkayaks.ca with your      proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos of the affected      area.
  2. Evaluation: Our team will review your claim and may request additional information.
  3. Resolution: If the claim is approved, we will repair or replace the defective part at      our discretion. Customers may be responsible for shipping costs.

Limitations & Disclaimers

Zest Kayaks’ liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights depending on your location.


Returns

We accept returns on unused and undamaged kayaks and accessories within 14 Days of the purchase date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and tags.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Used, damaged, or modified products
  • Items purchased on clearance or final sale
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or special-order items

Return Process

  1. Initiate a Return: Contact us at info@zestkayaks.ca with your order number and reason for the return.
  2. Approval & Shipping: Once approved, we will provide return instructions.      Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  3. Inspection & Refund: After receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process your refund within 10 business days to the original payment method.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and a description of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Cancellations

Orders can be canceled before they ship. Once shipped, the standard return policy applies.
